I am a student at Newcastle College, currently studying Graphic Design. I make and produce music, digital and sonic art with gameboys, found sound, ukulele, vocals and from using data that is not audio using Photoshop, Audacity and LSDJ and a whole host of other software programmes. I am a big supporter of free culture licensing (Creative Commons, GPL among a few) and release my own work under such licenses when I can. I have big interests in re-use and future/emerging technologies and tend to keep tabs on such things. My work is experimental and explores interpretation, in the perspective of an onlooker and the use of data.
Welcome to the website for Pixel Palace, Tyneside Cinema’s digital art programme, which ran from 2008-2014. Here you can explore our archive of exciting art commissions and exhibitions, as well as the artists we worked with over that time. You can find out more about what is happening with the current Tyneside Cinema Arts Programme at www.tynesidecinema.co.uk/art.
